Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (RKT) is the arrival port for optimized convenience. Direct commercial flights are available to RKT with five MICE-ready airlines and counting: Air Arabia (G9), IndiGo Airlines (6E), Air-India Express (IX), and Qatar Airways (QR). Air Arabia has the most routes to RKT to allow for flexible group travel. These airlines support direct flights to Ras Al Khaimah from international hubs including Istanbul, Mumbai, Cairo, Jeddah, Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad, Dhaka, Kozhikode, Moscow, Doha, and Hyderabad.
For incentive and VIP groups on route to Ras Al Khaimah, charter flights are also a popular option. Companies including Nicholas Air, VistaJet, Charter Flight Group, Paramount Business Jets, Icarus Jet, Monarch Air Group, and Prince Jets all offer charter services in Ras Al Khaimah.
Another point of access is through Dubai International Airport (DXB), just over an hour drive away from Ras Al Khaimah.
To continue the seamless travel experience, planners can arrange for comfortable and efficient transport from the airport to the group’s accommodation or venue. Private charter buses, limousines, and rental cars are available to shuttle groups of all sizes.
Upon entering the city, Ras Al Khaimah is highly walkable and contained, with everything a traveler might need within easy reach, including dining and venues just steps away from MICE-ready accommodations. Group transportation can be arranged via luxury charter buses, limousines, rental cars, and chauffeur services. Taxi service and the local bus network are also readily available to suit attendees’ independent exploration.
During off-site excursions and tours, participating MICE groups can traverse Ras Al Khaimah on horseback, on bikes, in off-road Jeeps, in four-wheel-drive desert safari vehicles, by foot on mountain hikes, by boat on the Arabian Gulf, or even in a hot air balloon.
Air infrastructure in Ras Al Khaimah is continuously expanding and has seen great strides. Streamlined travel to the Event Emirate is more accessible than ever before, and flight connectivity is steadily on the rise.
In November 2023, evidence of progress was highlighted by the partnership forged between Ras Al Khaimah and Qatar Airways. The first Qatar Airways flight arriving at RKT from Doha opened Ras Al Khaimah to over 160 destinations within Qatar Airways’ network.
Additional highly-anticipated ventures to expand Ras Al Khaimah’s connectivity include the upcoming route via the Etihad Rail. Upon completion of the railway expansion project, a luxury train experience will provide sophisticated transit to Ras Al Khaimah from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah, and Oman.
